Anyone got any ideas? We are a medium sized shop [14 Acmes] at the KS\OK border and have a limited pool of skilled labor in the area so I have to train our operators. But when to find the time? We are one of the lucky ones and ar holding our own in this economy and I don't have much time to spend on training.
I've tried looking online without much luck. It needs to be done in shop and the company won't allow outside help in the plant so I'm limited to flim and\or print media. Any ideas?

Training aide for multi-apindle screw machines

This is a great question, I have an machinist in the shop who is interested in learning more about multi's, but without bringing someone it's been difficult for him to find more info. I've shown him some youTube videos, and reference data I have, but he's really looking for some more practical material. Could you take video of yourself training one person, and then replay it to others as needed?

Take a look at on-line training http://www.learnhaas.com or http://www.ame21.com. This may not help you in your particular situation but on-line training is available.
