NewsOK has this item today on an Oklahoma machine shop staying in the game by running lean:

Like a lot of shops are reporting, they're having work from other businesses that closed coming to them, seeing equipment from closed shops flood the market and getting inundated with calls from machinists looking for work. It's also helped that they're heavy in repair. Just goes to show, no matter what shape the economy is in, if something crucial breaks, companies will pay to get it fixed.
Anyone else out there seeing a similar situation/conditions? Anyone in Oklahoma have a take on the machining market there?
