European economists term German manufacturing as being in a "freefall."
What are your customers in Germany telling you? When I was on a shop visit for a TMW article last month I saw parts sent over from Germany for repair, so obviously things aren't completely dead over there. Anyone have any news?

German car sales recently jumped 22 percent when the government gave 25oo euro bonuses to new car buyers and paid people 3200 euro to junk cars nine years old or older. Hey Barack how, about some of THAT German engineering over here?

Would anyone want to buy new American cars even with that kind of incentive?

Interesting Charles, you're considering buying a compact car, a truck and/or a sedan? All three or a choice between the three?
