The advantage of this screw machine patent http://alturl.com/2fm2 was to drill the holes from the bottom to expedite chip removal. It seems like a simple idea to me. But it makes me wonder if the days of entrepreneurs turning these simple non-computer related ideas into a business are still a reality today?
