GiBBS cam is a good all around software, for the very best in the world mold making software I would choose TEBIS. If you make a lot of design changes than also look at Solid Works.

Good Luck!

Finally got the go ahead to get some new software. I have been using Edgecam but has not been updated for ten years, version 4.0 (yea I know). We are now getting into building our own molds in house now. Mostly an Okuma house in here if that means anything. We do have one VMC with a full fourth axis also. Does any of this incorporate mold design in it too? Also have twin spindle lathes with the live tools and one of those has the Y axis. Any suggestions would be appreciated because it will be another 13 years before I will get another system in here.
