What happened to all the grand claims about eBay like “the perfect business model” and “so pure, so clean, so easy?” On paper the concept is beautiful but in reality there’s always a catch. Sellers bidding at their own auctions, hackers, fraud, spamming… With all the money eBay has, it amazes me they aren’t able to maintain a more trustworthy community. Isn’t building trust and eliminating hassles where eBay should be investing their money?
